Kuhn Med Lubni June 08
The first week of June, 2008, we saw the Lord bring many people to the medical clinics that were provided in the city of Lubni, population 60,000. We had some wonderful volunteers from south and central Mississippi (Nicholson & Grenada) who came to prayer walk, to share the gospel and to minister through meeting medical needs, as our Lord often did when He was walking here. We believe that God used the time and efforts spent in the clinics to break down barriers and open some doors for relationships for Viktor, the church planter working there. Lubni is a city of regional importance, and we would like to see a solid Baptist church started there that could then influence the surrounding region. There were about 180 people who were ministered to through visits to the doctor or through receiving reading glasses. Please pray for those who came to the clinics. All received gospel literature and New Testaments and heard the gospel. We thank you for your prayers for this project in Lubni, where there is no Baptist church. Please pray for Viktor and his wife Tanya, who are in one of the photos on this page. Planting a new church in a new place, from scratch, is the hardest work you will ever do. We need your prayers as we work along with them to see a church started there.
