Over the last seven months the International Mission Board has undergone many changes. Many incredible servants followed Christ back to North America. Likewise, God asked many faithful servants to remain in their places of ministry, internationally. After much prayer, God confirmed that Ukraine is still where he wants us to live and serve, AND we want and need you to partner with us! At the moment, I am looking for English groups, prayer walking groups, and groups willing to do construction. Please pray about the possibility of serving alongside us in our city of 1,000,000+.
Due to conflict in the country, there are many people who are now labeled as internally displaced (IDP). I was able to visit one of the churches we’ve worked with for several years and see how they are working to reach IDPs in their area through helping with food items.
Please pray that those who are displaced will be open to the gospel during such a difficult time.
Kasey and Isaiah work hard to make treats for friends at the playground, workers around our apartment building, as well as those who work in stores near us. They attach verses of scripture with the little gifts.
Please pray that these small gifts will bring joy to those who receive them and openness to the gospel. Pray also that Isaiah will be joyful in giving. This can be a challenge for a three year old.
Meet the two newest members of the family! Tybee and Oragon (Hurricane) joined us in late January and have already brought lots of laughter. Poor Kasey is surrounded by all males. On a more serious note, can you please pray for Kasey’s health? She was really sick almost two years ago and has been dealing with digestive issues since that time. The doctor here told her that her immune system is “exhausted.”
Please pray for healing and rest.
Valentine’s Day brought the opportunity to host a group of university students for decorating cards and bags, watching a Peanut’s Valentine’s Day movie, and fun discussion. The guy with the pink bow tie is our team leader Joe. There are several students from that group that are open to talking about faith, and we hope eventually they will be open to the gospel as well.
Please pray for Dima, Pasha, Polina, and Anne in particular.
